Richard Charles Ware, 90, Formerly of Manteno, IL, Remembered with Love and Affection

Richard Charles Ware, aged 90, and formerly of Manteno, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Born on October 26, 1933, in Chicago, IL, to Richard W. and Edith Ware, he was joined in marriage to Nancy (Burmeister) Ware on May 6, 1961, until her passing on July 1, 2018.

Left to cherish his memory are his son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Pam Ware of Peotone; daughters and sons-in-law, Barb and Phil Swanson of Beecher, and Kris and Art Todd of Homewood; grandchildren Kyle, Nicole (T.J.), Larissa (Austin), Nathan (Sarah), Adam, Kasey, Richard, and Tegan; great-grandchildren; brother Harold F. Ware; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, and sister Alice Chase.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions are welcome to the Manteno Fire Department, Manteno Police Department, or High Point Residence of Tinley Park.
