Beginning with the second semester, Peotone CUSD 207U will implement a new visitor management system called Raptor VisitorSafe across all its schools. The system is already in use by over 5,000 school districts and 60,000 schools nationwide.
The Raptor Visitor Management System enables monitoring and tracking of visitors to each building. It provides instant screening of all visitors, alerts staff when necessary, and creates visitor name badges.
All guests visiting the buildings will need to scan their state ID through the Raptor VisitorSafe System. Visitors are advised to have their state ID ready when entering the building or signing out students early.
