Peotone Community Unit School District 207U is launching a new monthly Parent/Community Engagement Series called "Who We Are." The series aims to give families and community members a chance to learn more about the district and its operations. District Administration members will lead the presentations once a month during the lunch hour.

The series will cover topics based on the acronym Peotone PRIDE, which stands for Planning, Resources, Instruction, Development, and Engagement. These areas include facility and long-term planning, efficient resource allocation, effective teaching and curriculum practices, staff training and retention, and communication with stakeholders.

The meetings are designed to provide context and background on district practices, share updates on initiatives or projects, answer questions, and encourage open dialogue. The district also hopes to receive honest feedback and input from attendees.

Meetings will be available both in-person and virtually to allow for broader participation. The first session is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Those interested in attending can join through the provided link if they have not already signed up.
